The Jano Holding, consisting of the companies Javo, Nobels Machinefabriek, Agro Techniek Holland and Javo International gets an expansion of the management board. Effective February 1, 2017, Koos de Vink will join as director, alongside the current management; Ber van Nobelen and Cees Bouwmeester.
Owner Ber van Nobelen (DGA) is pleased with the appointment of Koos de Vink as the new director. “Koos has earned his spurs in various management positions at previous employers and his knowledge and experience can be of great added value to our company. When Cees retires in a few years, Koos will take over his position. Until then, we can nicely pick up future plans together. So with the arrival of Koos, we have also guaranteed the continuity of our family business.”
The cooperation between the four companies goes back many years. Nobels began developing and building machines for flower bulb cultivation in 1956, the Javo machines have also been manufactured at Nobels from the early years, and ATH has been working with Nobels since 1959. Javo International was added to this in 2014 to also serve markets outside the horticultural industry with the Javo Toploader. By combining the companies in Jano Holding, the group can produce and offer the most innovative solutions for automation in the agricultural, horticultural and industrial markets.
Koos de Vink (1969) has been a director at a high-tech industrial supplier since 2010, after starting there in 1995 and holding various other positions (including Sales and Marketing Manager). In previous years, Koos de Vink worked as, among other things, Engineering Manager at a machine factory.
Koos de Vink is looking forward to his new position. “The companies within Jano Holding stand for quality and reliability. With this, I certainly see many opportunities for the future. The Netherlands is at the forefront of international agro and horticultural automation. Javo, Nobels, Agro Techniek Holland and Javo International are leading players in these markets. During the exploratory talks, I became increasingly enthusiastic about the fact that the four companies want to move forward. I see it as a great challenge to further develop the group, together with the employees, so that our customers can also be assured of the best technology in the future.”
As of February 1, 2017, Koos de Vink will join Jano Holding, but in January he is already making regular visits to Katwijk and Noordwijkerhout to get acquainted with all staff members at the four companies. During the IPM Essen from January 24-27 (the international horticultural trade fair), Koos will also be present at the Javo booth (3D43).
